TVS Motor Company has introduced the Black Diamond Editions of the Apache RTR 310 and Apache RR 310 as part of its festive season model refresh. The new editions are based on the top-spec variants of both motorcycles and bring an all-black paint scheme along with a few feature additions.
The TVS Apache RR 310 Black Diamond Edition is priced at Rs. 2.88 lakh, while the Apache RTR 310 Black Diamond Edition costs Rs. 2.49 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). Both motorcycles get an all-black finish designed to give them a stealthier appearance. The Black Diamond Edition is based on the respective top variants equipped with a quickshifter, so there are no major mechanical changes to the motorcycles.
However, the Apache RR 310 gains the Keyless Ride feature with this edition. This feature is already available on the Apache RTR 310. The two motorcycles continue to use the same 312cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. In the RTR 310 produces 35.6bhp and 28.7Nm of peak torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The RR 310's engine makes 37.54bhp and 29Nm.
Both bikes are equipped with a comprehensive electronics package, including Dynamic Stability Control, cruise control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, launch control and drag torque control. The Black Diamond Editions join the updated Apache 160 range, Apache RTR 200, and the Ronin as part of TVS' festive season refresh.
