It's been around 3 months since I got my bike, and so far I've managed to ride to these places: Yelagiri, BR Hills – K Gudi, Vatadahosahalli Lake, Nandi Hills, Penukonda Fort, Mysuru, Munnar, DD Hills, Yercaud, and Ooty.
Now I'm looking for some new places to ride to from Bangalore. I'm mainly into scenic roads, forests, hills, hairpins, lakes, and less-crowded places rather than the usual tourist spots. Would love to hear your recommendations — day trips or 1–2 day rides are both fine.
Community Route Recommendations
- Forest and Ghats: PG Palya safari, Dhondenling Monastery, Shivanasamudra Falls, Ramapura-Anthiyur forest ride, and Dhimbam Ghats.
- Heritage & Half-Day Rides: Talakadu and surrounding Kaveri riverbanks, Shettihalli Rosary Church, and Goruru Hemavathi Reservoir.
- Scenic Hillocks: Hulukudi Betta, Makalidurga, Kaiwara Betta, Bidirukatte, and Savandurga.
- Gentle ADV Trails: Forest routes towards Anchetty and Denkanikottai with light, twisting roads.
