The Honda CB500 has been launched in India, starting at a price of Rs. 2.75 lakh ex-showroom. The official bookings for the same have also begun, via Honda BigWing dealerships across the country.

The Honda CB500 was unveiled earlier along with multiple Honda motorcycles back in July 2026. It is powered by a 501cc, air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 27.6bhp of maximum power and 43.3Nm of peak torque.
With its launch, the Honda CB500 stands out as the only 500cc single-cylinder engine bike in India since the Royal Enfield Classic 500. It is positioned above the Honda CB350 lineup, and as the only 500cc big single, it could appeal to riders who were looking for a properly retro riding experience with its torquey nature. It will go up against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the BSA Gold Star 650 in India at this price point.
